Craft vs Outsourcing Studios
An outsourcing studio is a human service built for bespoke visual production. Craft is a self-serve and enterprise Creative Studio for AEC Workflows built for repeatable output, project continuity and visible approvals. Studios remain strong for individually art-directed hero work; Craft is stronger when one approved project must become many coordinated deliverables.
Open comparisonCraft vs Luma AI
Luma Dream Machine is a broad creative platform for generating and modifying images and videos, with references, keyframes and camera controls. Craft is a Creative Studio for AEC Workflows: it starts from project inputs, retains approved building context and coordinates stills, panoramas, motion and commercial deliverables around one development.
Open comparisonCraft vs Higgsfield
Higgsfield is a broad AI creative suite for image, video and cinema production, with model choice, camera and lens controls, identity systems and collaborative filmmaking tools. Craft is narrower by design: a Creative Studio for AEC Workflows built around plans, building identity, panoramic media, approvals and connected project deliverables.
Open comparisonCraft vs ChatGPT
ChatGPT is a general multimodal assistant for reasoning, research, file work, image creation and precise image editing. Craft is a Creative Studio for AEC Workflows. It adds a persistent project record, specialist media handling, production plans, cost visibility and approvals so one building can move through many teams and deliverables.
Open comparisonCraft vs Gemini
Gemini is Google’s general multimodal assistant and model platform, with strong reasoning plus image and video generation across the Gemini app and APIs. Craft is a Creative Studio for AEC Workflows that retains project-specific geometry, materials, panoramas, approvals and deliverable context around whichever models a workflow uses.
Open comparisonCraft vs General AI Tools
General AI tools optimize a single task or provide broad creation and reasoning. Craft coordinates the AEC project around those capabilities. Its difference is the system layer: persistent building context, specialist tools, panoramic media handling, costed plans, approvals and continuity from project input to final deliverable.
Open comparisonCompare the operating model
The question is not which platform can generate. It is what context, governance and delivery system surrounds the generation.

Category questions
Where general AI, creative suites, specialist studios and Craft each fit in an AEC production stack.
Should an AEC team use Craft, ChatGPT, Gemini or Higgsfield?
Use ChatGPT or Gemini for broad reasoning, research and one-off creation; use Higgsfield for broad creative image and video production; use Craft when a specific AEC project must stay connected to its plans, approved building details, panoramas, costs and deliverables. Many teams can use them together because Craft can treat frontier models as components inside a governed AEC workflow.
Can AI replace an architectural rendering studio?
The better question is which operating model fits the work. A studio remains valuable for bespoke art direction, manual modelling and a fully managed hero-production service. Craft is designed for the repeatable long tail: iterations, format variants, panoramas, motion and campaign assets that need to stay connected to one approved project.
Why do AI models break 360° panoramas?
Because an equirectangular panorama is not an ordinary image: its left and right edges must join seamlessly and its top and bottom are extreme distortions of the ceiling and floor. General models edit it as a flat rectangle, which tears the seam and smears the poles. Craft handles 360° as a native medium and can take a panorama out to flat stills and back.
